CITY OF GOLD
Uncle John, vocals, acoustic guitar
Sweetwater Music, Mill Valley, CA
Soundboard recording
There is a City of Love
Surrounded by stars and the powers above
Far from this world and the stuff dreams are
made of
There is a City of Love
TANGLED UP IN BLUE
Uncle John, vocals, acoustic guitar
Caffe Lena, Saratoga Springs, NY
City
of Gold/Tangled Up In Blue
Songs by Bob Dylan
Art Work by Jerry Garcia
She opened up a book of poems
And handed it to me
Written by an Italian poet
From the thirteenth century
Every one of them words rang true
And glowed like burnin’ coal
Pourin’ off of every page
Like it was written in my soul from me to
you
Tangled up in blue
FRANKLIN´S TOWER
Uncle John, vocals
Music by Terrapin Family Band
with Phil Lesh
Terrapin Crossroads, San Rafael, CA
Video recording
In Franklin's tower the four winds sleep Like four lean hounds, the lighthouse keep Wildflower seed on the sand and wind May the four winds blow you home again

Terrapin Crossroads, San Rafael, CA
Video recording
Wake up to find out that you are the eyes of the world
The heart has its beaches, its homeland and
thoughts of its own
Wake now, discover that you are the song
that the morning brings
But the heart has its seasons, it's evenings
and songs of its own
THEY LOVE EACH OTHER

Merry run around, navegando arriba y
abajo
Lord, you can see it´s true.

Video recordings on my Iphone made by my brother Brian,
images shaking as he dances & records
"From the other direction she was
calling my eye
It could
be an illusion, but I might as well try, might as well try
She wore
scarlet begonias tucked into her curls
I knew
right away she was not like other girls, other girls
In
the thick of the evening when the dealing got rough
She was
too pat to open and too cool to bluff
As I
picked up my matches & was closing the door
Had
one of those flashes, I´d been there before, been there before
Well, I ain´t always
right, but I´ve never been wrong
Seldom turns out the way it does in a song
Once in awhile you get shown the light
In the strangest of places if you look at it right
There
ain´t nothing wrong with the way she moves
Or scarlet begonias or a touch of the blues
And there´s nothing wrong with the look that´s in her eyes
I had to learn the hard way to let her pass by, let her pass by"
Wind
in the willow is playing "Tea For Two"
The sky was yellow & the Sun was blue
Strangers stopping strangers just to shake their hand
Everybody´s playing in the heart of gold band, heart of gold band
THE WHEEL
Uncle John, vocals,
Music by Terrapin Family Band
with Phil Lesh (Grateful Dead)
Terrapin Crossroads, San Rafael, CA
Video recording
Won´t you
try just a little bit harder
Couldn´t
you try just a little bit more
Won´t you
try just a little bit harder
Couldn´t
you try just a little bit more
Round, round, Robin run around
Gotta get back where you belong
Little bit harder, just a little bit more
Little bit further than you gone before
Small wheel turn by the fire and rod
Big wheel turn by the grace of God
Everytime that wheel turn ´round
Bound to cover just a little more ground
Uncle John, vocals

If my words did glow with the gold of sunshine And my tunes were played on the harp unstrung Would you hear my voice come through the music? Would you hold it near as it were your own?
