HEALTH REPORT
June 2025
I just had my annual check-up with my Kaiser doctor after about six months of regular gym exercise. It surprised me that my weight loss was ten pounds. That part of the gym program is working.
The doctor said I have a strong heart, normal blood pressure and I don´t take medications for this. He inspected my body and we talked about the gym. He suggested I wear a hernia belt when I work out. I´ve been aware that my brother, who worked out regularly in a gym, years before me, developed a hernia, and had to quit the gym, but he was pressing more than twice his weight. I am careful to start slow and build at my own pace. Our bodies speak to us.
I´m learning about gym accesories, and how to use equipment. I am learning to squat and genuflect again.
I immediately purchased the gym hernia belt and can feel its support.
We can deal with the pain, the sore muscles, occasional cramps, and recognize the need for rest and the importance of staying hydrated.
Gym exercise can be difficult to start but the end result should be better health, and a clearer mind that can lead to a happier life.

and covered with more echinacea.
I boil water to make large cup of tea.
It tastes bitter so I add honey.
I make & drink the tea again if symptoms persist.
I repeat for 3 days and by the 4th day my cold is gone.
